NeuroForge Christmas Party

After last year's NeuroForge Christmas party unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, we were happy to finally be able to celebrate in person this year.

Instead of digital topics like artificial intelligence or BigData, we dedicated our Christmas party to non-technical topics but craftsmanship!
The evening began with a cooking class at Sana e Salva in Eckersdorf. The theme of the course was a three-course vegan meal with a variety of festive and delicious dishes.

To start the evening, we enjoyed a warm and creamy salsify soup. The soup was made with fresh salsify, a root vegetable known for its earthy and slightly sweet flavor. The soup was served with edamame, apples and nuts, giving it a sore bite.

Next came the main course, a hearty and spicy curry with lentils. The curry was prepared with a mixture of aromatic spices and served on a bed of creamy lentils and cauliflower from the oven.

For dessert, we enjoyed a classic apple strudel. The strudel consisted of thinly sliced apples with cinnamon and walnuts in a buttery soft dough. The strudel was served warm and garnished with powdered sugar.

After the cooking class, the evening ended with a cozy get-together at Liebesbier, a local brewery known for its craft beers and cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed a few rounds of drinks and had a lot of fun chatting and sharing with our colleagues.

All in all, it was a great relief to finally be able to celebrate the holidays in person after last year's cancellation. The cooking class was a fun and interactive experience, and the three-course meal was a delicious and festive addition to the evening. We can't wait to see what next year's party has in store for us!
