From 30 August to 9 September, Raphael Dappe (15) from the Markgräfin-Wilhelmine-Gymnasium-Bayreuth completed a student internship at NeuroForge.
At the beginning of his internship, he was given a development server like any other developer at our company. He recorded the creation of the SSH key in the company's internal manual. This was followed by an introduction to the Git and GitHub programmes and their subsequent use. Raphael learned the principle of Virtual Environments and Dockers with the project docker-Iviv. The programme written by Raphael is able to recognise numbers from images with the help of AI.
As he progressed, he learned about other functions in programmes so that he could then write his own small applications. He was able to integrate AI Dall-E into the application to generate images with the programme.
At the end of the internship, he went with Jonas Szalanczi and Thomas Lachner to the server centre in Nuremberg and was able to gain further insights into the world of a software company.
The NeuroForge team would like to thank Raphael for his great support and is looking forward to more young, curious interns in Bayreuth and the surrounding area. Feel free to take a look at the homepage.
