On Tuesday, September 13th, as part of the "MOONRISE" project, another online event on Predictive Maintenance was organized by SWS Digital and IT-Cluster Oberfranken.
Predictive Maintenance enables predictions to be made regarding the maintenance of machines and equipment. This allows for the prediction of data wear and, thus, saves money on maintenance. By using probability models based on real-time data, production breakdowns or downtime can be avoided.
Frank Baumann from duramentum GmbH & Co. KG presented the possibilities of Predictive Maintenance, followed by three practical examples from NeuroForge GmbH & Co. KG, d-opt GmbH, and Simba n3 GmbH. The event concluded with a joint discussion.
